In the case of the Balearic Islands, the delivery time is 1 week. When an item is missing or out of stock, the order may be delayed. In this case, we will contact you by e-mail to notify you. For Europe and the rest of the world, the delivery time is at least one week.

Since the early days of oil painting, painters have made high demands on the durability of their work. To meet these demands for optimal durability, Old Holland produces all of its classic oil paints, always according to traditional recipes - time-tested for durability - supplemented by the latest contemporary knowledge. The choice of pigments is a unique mix of the best traditional colors and the best pigments resulting from the latest technological advances.

In 1985, after extensive research, Old Holland offered a revolutionary line of 168 oil colors, each with the highest degree of fade resistance. Traditional pigments that did not have light fastnesses were replaced by modern pigments that had light fastnesses with the same color qualities as traditional pigments. Thanks to the highest possible pigment concentration, the paint has incomparable color strength.

Within the unique range of 168 colors there is a wide range of opaque and transparent colors, each with the highest qualities of intensity and brilliance. As a binder for our oil paints, we only use linseed oil from the first cold pressing to achieve optimal oxidation (drying) of the paint. This increases the durability and smoothness of the brush stroke. These characteristics combined result in an oil painting of unsurpassed quality.
