Canson® Montval® paper was designed by the painter Gaspard Maillol, nephew of the sculptor Aristide Maillol, and manufactured by Canson® at his request at the beginning of the 20th century. Since then, the role has been gaining in qualities. Acid-free, with excellent longevity, treated against mildew and free of optical brighteners, it is the best studio paper for watercolors. It is very easy to use and make corrections on it (the paper can be washed with a brush). It is available in different thicknesses and sizes. Complies with ISO 9706, acid-free and without optical brighteners.
