The new Tombow ABT PRO alcohol-based markers are dual-ended permanent art markers, one flexible brush and one chisel tip. Its design is similar to Tombow's flagship Dual Brush Pen. ABT PROs feature a slim body for a comfortable, natural grip during use and are ideal for artists, designers, and crafters.
Flexible brush tip distributes ink evenly as pressure changes. Polyester chisel point retains its shape after heavy use. Inner caps are self-centering to protect tips when recapping markers. The ink is permanent, alcohol-based. It offers fast drying, vibrant colors and is excellent for layering and shading. It's perfect for creating rich, saturated color blends. In addition, it is long lasting and does not form crushed paper. This professional quality range is ideal for professional graphic designers, illustrators and artists.
Using the brush tip, apply a light amount of pressure to apply a light coat of color. If you apply more pressure you will get a darker layer of color. Use the chisel tip to create straight lines and fill in large areas. Apply one coat for lighter fills and multiple coats for darker fills. Using the brush tip to draw small circular shapes will give you a more even distribution of color. This creates a more saturated fill. Use the brush tip to create a base coat with an even distribution of ink. Then apply a layer of ink of the same color over the base to create a darker color. Apply more pressure at the beginning of the stroke and release the pressure at the end of the stroke in one quick motion. Use light, quick strokes to create soft edges for blending.
