JACQUARD LUMIÈRE

They won't crack, peel, or chip, even on flexible surfaces like fabric, leather, vinyl, or rubber. Smooth to the touch and washed on fabric, Lumiere paints also exhibit unmatched adhesive properties, even on non-porous surfaces such as ceramics and metal. Here are the basics to get you started: Application: Jacquard Lumiere can be applied with brushes, stamp pads, squirt bottles, and airbrushes. For fine airbrushing with water up to 25%. Fixation: After drying, Jacquard Neopaque must be heat set. There are several ways to do it: Ironing: This is the best method. Use an iron and iron dry on the reverse side on the proper setting for the fabric. Dryer: Have the dryer set as hot as the fabric will take for about 35 to 45 minutes. Cleaning: Promptly clean all tools with warm water.
Tips: Color Mixing: Jacquard Lumiere comes in 32 colors and you can easily mix them to make any color you like. Pastel Creation: You can mix Neopaque White (JAC589) in any other Neopaque color to create pastels. Try mixing a little at first and then adding more if you want to increase the effect. Increase Transparency: You can increase the transparency of any color by adding Flowable Extender ( JAC579) to it. The more you add, the more transparent the color will be. Increase transparency and fluidity: You can increase both transparency and fluidity by adding up to 25% water. This will give you more of a watercolor effect.
