The use of gels and pastes extends the characteristics and working properties of acrylic paints.

Gel mediums are used to create different textures. There are several gel consistencies, from the extra heavy gel to the softest gel, and each is available in different finishes from gloss to matte. In addition, the gels work as excellent adhesives, drying with great flexibility.

Modeling pastes are used to achieve various effects and expressions. The difference with gels is that these are opaque and create a white or clay tone finish. The modeling paste is also used to create bases for painting, either because we need to smooth a textured base, or on the contrary to create a texture on a smooth base.

The effects paste is used to give a special finish to the work, such as cracking paste or fiber paste.
