Cobra paint does not require any solvent and mixes easily with water. It is like painting with a traditional oil. Cleans up with soap and water. Cobra water mixable oil has been available since 2010. Due to its special formula, this oil paint can be mixed and diluted with water. With Cobra water-based oil you can paint in oil without the inconvenience of solvents such as white spirit or turpentine. Cobra paint is characterized by its high level of quality and the ease with which the colors mix with water. All 70 Cobra colors are lightfast for a minimum of 100 years and stand out for their high tinting power. If you use Cobra neat, undiluted, you can work perfectly wet-on-wet with strong strokes and brush strokes. If water is added, the box can be configured in layers. And if you use a lot of water, you can even create watercolor effects. Brushes and other materials are easily cleaned with soap and water.
The Cobra painting owes its name to the highly renowned current within modern art. This current originated in 1948 as an international association of European writers and painters. The name is formed by the three capitals of the original countries of the founders: Copenhagen, Brussels and Amsterdam. Cobra artists painted directly and spontaneously.
